Should I camera the sewer before buying a house?
On an older property, yes. A standard home inspection does not include the sewer line, and the line is one of the few things on a house that can cost thousands and is entirely invisible until it fails. What the camera actually shows
- Roots. Where they entered, how much is in the line, and whether cutting them will hold or the joint needs repair.
